Here is the large family room - nice big space, but quite dated with the carpet, dark paneling and rock fireplace.

Nice job! They really updated everything- good for them! I think I would have kept the green outdoor carpet/turf though :)!!!!!

I really like how they updated the room. It looks like they saved some of the rock, but painted it - and perhaps took out some? It's funny how things that were considered so fashionable in the 60s are just so ugly to us now. Makes me wonder what people will say about this decade in 40 years!
