One answer to my dilemma from my last post is to not post long and interesting posts, just short and fun! So how about this? Today it snowed in Fredericksburg, Texas - well, at my house anyway, for about ten minutes! I was quick to run outside with my phone and snap these shots.

My Ranchburger inspired me to share my pictures as she did - yes, she had snow in Houston! Now that is something to blog about!!
LUV-IT! It was so pretty all swirling around today, but glad it didn't stick! Good to see you today!
ReplyDeleteIt was so pretty swirling around! And glad it didn't stick. Good to see you today!
ReplyDeleteI'm in Tyler and it snowed for HOURS! Of course it didn't stick. But that it snowed that long shocked me.

Pretty porch you have. We got snow yesterday in Fort Worth, pictures at my place.
ReplyDeleteThat's a hoot!! I love the blooming yellow flowers and the snow... only in Texas;)!
ReplyDeleteLove your front porch!
I'm with you on the fun and short posts. That planter you've done is outstanding.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in the desert of Arizona. No snow. Ever. Now, I'm in Virginia, and am over the top thrilled with every forecast of snow.
All best,
Kathleen
Forgot to mention how pretty your urns are ---- lovely! You must share secret of keeping deer away!
ReplyDeleteThanks Stacey! I use tons of that stinky liquid fence stuff. It typically works for a while but by the end of the season last year the deer had destroyed everything. I just sprayed because I walked out my back door the other day and they had eaten pansies RIGHT NEXT to my back door - really close to the house!!I love seeing the deer but sure wish they had enough to eat without eating my flowers!
ReplyDeletebeautiful! we had snow for a few minutes too and it came while i was decorating the Chrismtas tree! it was perfect!
ReplyDeleteCan you believe that just 20 minutes down the road from you we actually had almost 2 hours of the snow falling down! It was just beautiful. None of it stayed around, but it was sure pretty getting to see the big fluffy flakes fall. Sorry to say I didn't get a picture....
ReplyDeleteLove your urns! Did you get them locally? I need two just like them!
I heard that Texas got snow! How exciting (and odd). We got a huge snowstorm here - have about 2 ft of the white stuff in our back yard now and driving was treacherous today. Wish we got what you got instead. I love Canada - but I hate the cold. Snow is okay in small quantities.
ReplyDeleteYes to short and sweet posts! Big hug and thanks for your long note the other day. So many lovely people in the world and glad I found you!

Meant to say - your urns are gorgeous too!
ReplyDeleteI got a few exciting calls! You had more snow than we did in Colorado! But, today, we're catching up......Lovely. -susan
ReplyDeleteHI Ann!
ReplyDeleteI had to comment on your "snow sharing". We didn't get much here but we SAW some....Your urns are lovely....What a great picture!!!!!! It would make a great card, I think. Our village selected that night to do the "Christmas Stroll". Uh OH... A Christmas shopping night in cold weather???? We thought it was great!!! All the shops served tea, wassail.....
Such a pretty planter! It snowed here in Alabama and I missed it!
ReplyDeleteSnow in Texas, I know that was exciting. How I would love to go to one of L.A. meetings. We never get anything here in this one horse town.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! We had snow in Houston and it was such a treat!
ReplyDeleteWe spend time in The Hill Country and really wish I could have seen it over that way!
