On my recent trip to Maine I got to visit the Cornish Trading Company in Cornish, Maine.
I have seen ads for the group shop for years, and was excited to visit.
I was not disappointed!
I was not disappointed!
Room after room was chock full of good old furniture, architectural pieces, old wicker, old iron,
paintings, and tons of interesting small items.
My friend and I commented more than once that we wished we had brought a truck to fill to bring back to Texas.
Oh what a sale we could have had!!
Prices were good and fair.....
and the shop keepers could not have been more friendly and helpful.
I look forward to another visit one day, and highly recommend Cornish Trading Company to anyone looking for a variety of good, authentic antiques - something hard to come by theses days!
Really love the antique trunks. Great finds!
ReplyDeleteI hope you come visit & tell me what you think of my fall decor.....so far! Oh & I also have a new Giveaway!

OMG the Persian Rugs, the colorful old Bottles... I'm swooning! *winks* What a great place... I would have wanted to drag quite a lot of it back to Arizona too!

I always love poking around in antique shops when I am far from home. Although a lot it the same, there is always a somewhat "different" feel. I am quessing that the vibe in Maine antiques store is a bit different than Texas?

Crazy about the bed frames - know I could find one for our guest room!!
