We just planted tons of new flowers in our front beds last week and it was 27 degrees yesterday morning!! Yes, I said twenty seven!!! Is this Texas? Is spring ever coming for sure?! How about rain?
Oh, your flowers look so beautiful and your weather sounds divine. I wish for that in my City. I hope we have some sun on the weekend, as I would love to get my hands in the dirt. Take care Patricia
Good morning! I also live in Central Texas, on the eastern edge of the Hill Country. And Fredericksburg is one of my favorite spots in the state. In fact, my husband and I opted for a very quiet honeymoon at Rose Hill Manor. We just wanted a great view, a comfortable porch, and the proximity to Fredericksburg!
I just found your blog; I look forward to reviewing all your posts.
I just love this cold spring we are having. It makes the flowers look so crisp. Right now, however, our skies are full of yellow smoke from all the grass fires west of Fort Worth....
These are lovely - wow it got COLD down south! These are wonderful, they look like little bow tie pastas. : ) The hubby and I are bringing a load of new paintings down there to the gallery in a few weeks and I can't wait to take pictures of all the flowers. Thanks for giving us a sneak peek! hugs from Flower Mound...
Beautiful------tell me the secret of your green thumb! I just planted a bunch of geraniums and they already look sad. Could you please come by my house and take care of my flowers! I do love this weather. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Ann! Beautiful arrangement of flowers! Love the planter- is that faux bois? Burrr.. that's cold for TX! Thank you for your sweet comment of encouragement! Please don't delay the email- I need a distraction!!! Happy Easter to you and yours, joan
Joan, thanks! yes, the planter is faux bois. It came from a group of old pieces out of San Antonio where there are tons of examples throughout the city - I should do a post on it, actually! Thanks for noticing.
